brief
As the Graphic Design Director for NC State College of Design’s annual student-run fashion show, I led a team of student designers to create the visual identity for the show’s 20th anniversary. Given the pandemic restraints, what was once a live runway show held in our student union transformed into an entirely virtual experience. Along with digital collateral and experiences to promote the show, our student team collaborated on a film showcasing the final collections and each designer’s creative process.

As a team, we underwent extensive mood-boarding to narrow down how we wanted to communicate the 20th Anniversary theme of "Advance: Moving Forward in a Purposeful Way". After multiple style iterations, we landed on a retro yet futuristic aesthetic that catered to current trends but could also be nostalgic.
I created a brand usage guide to keep our brand consistent through all the materials being worked on by multiple designers on our team. This document outlined the elements of the visual identity we created and how to utilize different assets like logos, patterns, etc.
